Good choice admiralWillyWilber! I have an ASUS ROG laptop,17" screen, Core I7 4700HQ, 500GB SSD and a 250GB SSD, nVidia GTX-765M video and 16GB'sof RAM. Boots in 29 seconds. I know it's older, but it sure is fast! You can't beat ASUS ROG's! ![]()
I had a Dell, but when I started pricing 4 years ago I discovered that Dell was overpriced, and underpowered. Hewlett-Packard, and Cyberwise are priced good.
Yep, I had an older 17" Dell too, and it was fast, but my son needed one so I gave it to him. The newer Dell's sucked. I have owned Dell's and HP's, but I was very disappointed with them. I had a really fast Samsung, but gave it to a family needing it for their kids doing distance learning during this pandemic. Wish Samsung still made laptops. But all-in-all, the ASUS ROG laptops I have found to be the best.
I just bought an ASUS laptop too. It's a ROG Zephyrus M15 15.6" Gaming Laptop, Intel Core i7-10750H, 16GB Memory, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, 512GB SSD with a 144Hz screen and I installed a second 1TB M.2 ssd. My old laptop was still running Win8 and the screen started to get washed out.
