I downloaded the mpeg 2 decoder app but dont know how to get my .dream file to play it in deskscapes. Can you advise please?

Sorry to hear you are having issues.
Open the DeskScapes app click on settings ( see image )
click on drop down you'll see 3 settings
it may be set on media foundation if so try each of the other 2
EVR and VMR-9 one of those should work .
Test dream and report back with
the link to dream that has the issue.
also the full version of Windows your running ?

Hello again.
I selected all three of the performance settings and restarted Deskscapes but to no avail. The software still asks me to install the decoder on this wallpaper : https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/dream/226?fscNext=fsc%3Ainvoke%3Acomplete

Does this happen with the dreams that came stock with the new install... or no.... this is only happening with one \ some that you have downloaded?

I have the decoder installed but it doesn't show up on the Nirsoft tool.
It keeps asking for the decoder again. Thanks for your support-I would very much like to get this paper working as i paid for it!

Sorry to hear you are having issues.
I believe that Dream has been updated can you try redownloading .
Delete the version you have now and re download it again from your
account , test and report back , please .

I tried reinstalling both the Desktop 10 software and the new dream file but i still have the same problem!

Try one more time , I just sent you a new link to your PM
to download the StellarDream ... use that download.
Delete the present Dreams first the apply the new dreams,
that should work and report back here , if still an issue
Refer to reply #2 above and try each of those options.
The updated dreams won't need that Mpeg2 decoder.
