How to completely clear out all previous settings

Hello,

One of my fences somehow disappeared and I have not found a way to get it back. Any items in the fence are also not visible. I know the files exist but they are simply not visible because the fence is hidden. I googled around for a solution to restore that fence but nothing worked. Hence I decided to uninstall Fences and reinstall. The issue is when I reinstall, it remembers my previous fences and it restores it back to the way it was, including the missing fence. I have tried clearing our every potential cached location, searching both for files in the file system and also the Windows registry. But still no luck. Where exactly are these settings stored??? I cleared everything out in my User directory and also the stuff left over in the installation directory. Help!

Please try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here: https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#reinstalling Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purged. Reinstall, and Reboot again after the installation. Retest it. Report back here.

I might be wrong, but can Fences 2.0 be downloaded?

If a client purchased it when it was available, yes, it would be on their account (as would be Fences 1 for that matter).

However, it is no longer available nor is it supported.
