Audio sharing, change audio balance ?

Hello,

I'm using Multiplicity audio sharing to get audio from two other computer on my main one and it works fine.

How ever when multitasking between all three I would like to separate stereo channels to identify where the sound is coming from.

Ideally I would like this :

  • main PC : both channels
  • left PC : left channel only
  • right PC : right channel only (surprise  )

I tried changing the audio balance on secondary PC but as for volume it has no effect as it seems Multiplicity catch and send the sound before Windows apply it.

I tried on the master PC but at best all Multiplicity sounds were on one side.

How can I achieve that please?

Sadly nothing in the audio FAQ cover audio balance.

Bump and here to watch for replies.  Whilst most are happy for all sound from all devices to be combined, it would be a useful feature to have an optional 'pro-mode' for audio which presents the audio from other devices through Multiplicity as separate audio streams which can then be modified in the manner outlined previously.  As someone experimenting with streaming but with voice comms on a separate machine the ability to include or exclude the audio from that machine in my stream would be useful.  There are other workarounds in the streaming software but they introduce additional complications.
