For years now i am using Fences, i had see that many times some of my shortcuts was missing.
Yesterday i understanded that Fences has a bug that delete your shortcuts without you can noticed it!
Please see video bellow and advice how to solve this issue!

Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, I don't really see what is going on in the video. Which part in the video showing Fences delete your Desktop shortcut.

Hello,
On the start of video the recycle bin is empty.
00.21 I create some random shortcuts.
00.35 I delete these shortcuts.
00.37 I open recycle bin and i found there shortcuts that never select to delete (these shortcuts are on fences ''co op'' ''mmo'' ''sports'').
01.12 i repeat same progress again and same issue happened again.
This happened when i select an area on my desktop with shortcuts (outside fences).
When i click one by one the shortcuts its not happened.

Can you try the test without the animated background (what appears to be WallPaper Engine) - just a solid color applied by Windows?

Would like to suggest try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here: https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#reinstalling Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purged. Reinstall, and Reboot again after the installation. Retest it. Report back here.

Are you using any monitor software like DisplayFusion, Actual Multiple Monitors, NVidia Surround? If so, and you disable it, does it still happen?

I don't use DisplayFusion, Actual Multiple Monitors or NVidia Surround.
I use NZXT CAM and EVGA Precision X1, i disable them for a test but the issue is still there!
Until we can see if it can be reproduced, I would recommend you move those Fences away from the unfenced ones that automatically alingn to the left.

Ok, i will do it.
I will move all of my fences on the right side of my desktop and hopping that you guys will find a solution for this annoying bug soon.

It would be great to customize my fences the way i like them and not the way they are not bug.

After a month and still no update for my issue.
Uninstalling fences.

I have already uninstall fences.
Due to the fact i have a lot shortcuts (200+) i don't want to test on this.
I will be glad install when the final version will be out and report then.
I confirm that 3.1.0.5 version fix this issue but it also make wallpaper engine to stop working.
Fixing something breaking something else ;/
Once again ...uninstalling fences waiting for proper working version
