message keeps popping up on second computer

Every 3-5 mins or so a message will pop up on my secondary computer.

"a user on computer would like to remote control your computer.  If this is expected you should give them the code below"

There's no other computers on my network and i'm the only one running multiplicity.  I have the security option checked for only allow computers on your subnet and this message keeps coming up constantly.  I can't find away to turn it off and it goes away on it's own after 10 seconds or so.  It wont do this for a few days and then it starts up again.

Any idea how to get rid of this pop up?

I am receiving the message as well. In addition, I have unchecked "Allow this computer to send the screen contents to another computer (KVM mode)" on the non-host system - this did not prevent the pop-up;

That message should only appear if another computer has connected to the computer requesting a KVM connection and does not have suitable login details.

Do you have the Multiplicity sidebar running?

If you click KVM control settings you should be able to disable the setting to allow one time pass codes.  This will stop any messages if they are coming from the network side of things.

That said the message can also only show IF KVM connections are allowed as without that enabled no incoming connections will succeed.  The only other way to show it would be due to something local to the computer causing a prompt.

The prompt should indicate what is trying to connect to it "A user on computer %xxxxx% would like to remote control your computer.".  It sounds like that bit is blank?

For now if you pick the unload option on the secondary, go to the Multiplicity folder and rename MultiSrv and multisrv64.exe to something else it will stop it showing any messages.

We continue to investigate this however.

Correct, it's blank.  I typed the message in verbatim but left out the code.  Otherwise the message appears 100% as typed.

No, don't think i've ever even seen a sidebar.

If you click KVM control settings...

I have no KVM settings in my multiplicity setup. The only options i have on either computer is "seamless, settings, hotkeys, audio, about" there are no other options.

What antivirus product are you both using as there is a possibility it is triggering the message.

haven't had a message since switching to that beta release.  Been using it for about 3 hrs this morning so cautiously optimistic.
