Did my activation limit go down?

I used to be able to activate start10 and such on multiple computers. I think there was even a page I could go to and view current activations and manage them. I went to put start10 on a new laptop and it tells me I reached my limit. I thought I would go and deactivate from one of the systems I no longer have and can't find the page. After looking around the help page I see it is stating only one computer now. Did my software just get downgraded?

I'm not sure if a bot responded or just someone who didn't read my question. My question is not about how I deactivate. I want to know how many activations I can have because things aren't adding up. When I bought the software I could activate it on multiple computers. Now the support page is saying only 1 computer. I want to know if I am still getting what I paid for?

Hello,

From what I understand, if you bought your license before the 1 pc per activation key implemented, than it should still have 5 activations per key. You can check it using steps mentioned in the link I gave above. Use the "manage" button and see how many activation already use up per key. If there is discrepancy, you can raise a support ticket via this link https://stardock.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/4

The link takes me to a point about how to deactivate in a very long FAQ. This is also the place where it states you can only use it on one computer. If you scroll up a ways there is a section on checking activations. I confirmed this is where I already went and saw only the new activation I just did. However, I went to a second computer and risked deactivating/re-activating it to see what happens. It then appeared as an activated computer. It looks like the activation screen was wiped and no longer shows old activations. This in combination with the prompt telling you that you are maxed out and need to deactivate your other (singular) computer and the FAQ saying you only get one license is very deceiving.

There needs to be a section in the FAQ regarding old purchases. Also, I'm not sure how I deactivate an old computer I no longer have if the old activations no longer appear in my account.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

Currently, the EULA reads 1 concurrent activation but 5 are programmatically allowed.

When you reset your activations when prompted, it will reset them all.  Any currently still in use will silently reactivate.

I have the exact same problem and question and just posted before I saw this.  The above suggestion is fine if you have the old computer accessible and want to deactivate it, but we should be able to see a list of activated computers somewhere (as we used to).
