Left column of Start menu breaks into panels that overlap vertically

Circles by Lightstar and Brainstorm by davebax are examples. I would guess I have about 30 blinds that have this issue.

Hope this is helpful and not sounding "picky"!

I am sooooo pleased with the whole Windowblinds concept that I want to help any chance I can.

I am retired but spent many years working for the Estates of Bill Gates and Paul Allen as a software manager.

Running windows 10 PRO (full)

Sorry, don't know how I could get a screen shot on the start panel. If I click anywhere, for any reason the panel goes away.

If you guys have a trick just let me know how it works.

Just press PrtScr (Print Screen) on your keyboard when Start Menu is open. Open your image editor (MS Paint or another) and paste it into a new document and save it.

Hmmmm, since it does that in many skins, try lowering the "Allocate room at least..." in the Start 10 Configure area to about 8 or 10. That is a hugely tall start menu. :-)

Also looks like you have made the font size way too big.

I did that and, yes, it works. The only reason I posted this is that it does that in some blinds and not in most others. Just thought might be interesting to yall.

I don't mean to drag this out... so if that's the way it works then that's the way it works!

Thanks to all!

Many Blinds Start menues aren't made/meant to hold more than, say Max 11-13 programs TOPS, never seen such an amount of programs pinned to it o_O

-I'm skinning for people putting their Most Frequently used programs on there, Not their whole software-Library lol ^_^

OOOOOKAAAAAAA????

I'll try to take that as constructive!

You DID catch that I pointed out that lots of skins don't have that problem as the reason I brought it up. I am not dissing anything or anyone.

-When there's a background "stretch" involved it will work, however it looks bit funny if the background is TOO stretched (on many skins) or If there's a Static image for background it probably only reaches that far to cover too Many programs on the startmenue... -As most people do not have that many programs pinned to the start menu many skins weren't made to accommodate that.

-Constructive enough? ;)

Thanks for the info, and I mean that. I love Windowblinds and I just want to be as knowledgeable as you Genuine Craftsmen are with Windowblinds. And I want to help.
