I'm using Windows 7 Pro SP1 with Fences v3.09. 11.
I have created a fence on the desktop and now I want to permanently delete the fence.
I can click on X as often as i want the fence stays on the desktop. But strangely I can rename it but not delete it.
Please I need urgent help.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please check if you have accidentally lock your Fences. If you do. Please unlock it.

Thanks for the quick reply, unfortunately it was not effective. There must be a severe bug.

I don't think there is a bug, since I have Windows 7 running same Fences version without such issue. Please try the purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here : https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#reinstalling Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purged. Reinstall, and Reboot again after the installation. Retest it. Report back here.

Hi basj,
unfortunately I had to completely delete fence and completely reinstall it and reconfigure all settings. Now it works again.
