Stardock Central--How Does This Work?

I just downloaded the new Stardock Central and finally figured out how to get it to update my version of ObjectBar . . . well, at least I thought it did. I did a lot of downloading and then forced me to restart my system, but when I check in ObjectBar under Help, About, it tells me I'm running the same version of ObjectBar I was before Stardock Central did its thing. But SDC insists that I'm running the new version. So I'm completely perplexed now about how this thing is supposed to work and what, exactly, it did when it did all that downloading.

I have the latest build of ObjectBar (1.60a[b]), and when I click on About, it tells me I have Version 1.60 Build 629 installed. So I assume it's correct. What versions do you guys see?

I'm having trouble with SS XP.

Version should be 1.6.0 029 dated 2/26/2003. The newer update in SDC only updated for NT install...no code updated. If you're running this version then you're up to date.

Unload ObjectBar, then uninstall. Reboot your pc to clear all the locked files, then download and install the new version.

I cant do that.My WB installation comes bundled with SS XP.They both use the same serial # and folder. If I delete SS I lose WB.I already tried that and lost about 30 skins I had dl'd. >

...it's a good idea to back-up the skins folder first before uninstalling
