New WindowBlind Installed Notification

After either my Windows 10 update, or my latest WindowBlinds update - I noticed that the pop-up notification at the bottom right of the screen, that used to say "New WindowBlinds Installed - Click here to apply" (or words to that affect) has disappeared.

Is there an   option in the settings for either Windows 10 or WindowBlinds that I can check to turn this feature back on?  Or is there something else I can do to get it back?

Please let me know. I realize its a minor issue - but it was nice to see, even to know that I had installed the new WB correctly.

Cheers and thanks!

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Not really sure what is happening on your system. The notification pop up on my computer when I install new style. Maybe you can check your Windows notification setting and see if something is set to "Off"

It happens to me now and then. I usually go to Settings (in Windows) then system, then Notifications and actions. There, I find it turned off, I just turn it back on.

I know this may sound dumb, but I followed your instructions, but I didn't see a specific app for Window Blinds. All of the existing apps (excluding Chrome - since I don't use it) are turned on.

Any chance Im missing something?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more on your system.

  1. Windows version. Please use Winver.exe for full version numbers.
  2. Windowblinds version.
  3. Is the issue "no notification of new style is installed" happened when you double click on the any XXX.wba file?

Thanks.

this is a new windows 10 2004 build update issue, you should make sure it is on when you start windows.

Start , Setting , Apps , Startup. Make sure the WB is turned on.

hope this helps.

Not having the issue here at all on Build 2004, and WB isn't even in the Startup list at all.

I used to run v1909, but I don't remember having the issue. Maybe you can try updating to Windows 10 v2004.

Thank you,

Nah, computers are fine Andy, it's more than likely just Windows 10 again as usual. :-(
