Multi Monitor setup

It would be great if Fences would remember fences setup for multi monitors so that fence portals for the second monitor only show up when it is connected and don't get moved to the main screen when disconnected.

Hi Basj,

Cheers for the reply. I tried the relevant options in the linked posts to no avail. However, when I restore from a backup my potals go to the correct screens. Is there some way to powershell/cmd script a restore?

Please try this and report back.

  • 'Reset' saved settings and set the 'Store' option:
  • Create a new snapshot with things where you want them.
  • Perform an 'automatic layout':
  • Restore the snapshot
