Why Exact Positioning Is So Weird?

What kept me years from buying Fences is the odd behavior, whenever I try to make my desktop look nice. Finally however I bought it, and since then I waste a lot of time wit attempts to make it look nice. 

Why don't we habe editable properties for each singe Fence like

Upper Corner Left, Upper Corner Right; Width, Height, Title (Top/Bottom), Background Color (individual in #hex or common settings), Opacity (in % or common value)

And a checkbox Never change properties without asking for permission or a request "You really want to store the new position?" If I mistakenly dragged a fence somewhere, and didn't intent to do this. 

I so often disturbed a lot of work with an unintended drag & drop and that again wastes a lot of time, I really could save by using all it' wonderful features... eg some days ago I learned, how to use Windows-folders as a fence on the desktop. Thank you Stardock, I love this feature.💖
