Okay, Turn off Sandbox, Rebooted, Teams starts up, Started OBS. Moused over a fence and 35 seconds to open the fence. It even started to open the fence about 21 seconds in. Just a sliver shows up. Now this is a random thing. Does not delay a lot just a pain when it does.

Nothing was changed other then the Sandbox turned off.

I will report back if the problem gets better or worse.

That is not the test I was looking for.  I actually want you to enable \ use Windows Sandbox, install Fences in an instance of it, and see if you still see your issues.

The test, Removed Fences, rebooted,Turned Sandbox back on rebooted, Used Windows Sandbox to install fences, "odd test:, close sandbox and you have to reinstall Fences. Yep I know how it works. I reinstalled Fences on my Desktop too. Now it just wait the random lag time, Been 20 mins none yet. Made 2 roll up fences in Sandbox.

On the NON-Sandbox, I lost some of my Icons, Just the Paper Place holders for them now. Tested all the Icons and they still run the software that they point to. Went into properties and change the Icons back, Need Administrator to change, I am and it did. and some I had to do twice to get the Icons back.

Not the (Tests)droids you're looking for, Jedi mind trick!

Roger, I think you are missing some things here that I had assumed but should not have.

Window Sandbox is a virtual environment that you can test things in.  It's the base version of Windows you have installed but with nothing else, no settings from the host PC \ Windows or 3rd party apps.

https://mashtips.com/windows-10-sandbox-feature/

When the Sandbox is closed, everything in it is destroyed.

Why the test at all?

We need to see that our app runs normally in that environment as expected.  If it did not, it could be a hardware conflict (in your case).

If it does run as expected, it is very likely a setting \ 3rd party app conflict on the host PC (again, that is isolated from the Sandbox intance).

As said prior, if it works in the Sandbox, it does not 'fix' anything on the host PC - it just gives you an indication that something on the host PC is conflicting. When that is the case, a 'clean boot' is recommended on the host PC to then do a process of elimination to what is wrong:

The other problem of running it in a VM, Software Conflicts do happen to. None of the software I have is loaded in the VM, and The Hardware would also be pushed aside. Most of the hardware would be software emulated.

Non-VM So far, so good. The reinstall has been going well too. But it has been over and hour of testing.

and Yes, I cleaned the registry, dumped the files left behind that the uninstaller does not get. I did move all my Icons out into folders and restore them by hand. I had Outlook 2019, Teams,Python 3.8, and Remote desktop checking on the backups of the main systems. and Windows did and update for .net. had to reboot and redo the VM. Put the Desktop Icons in the Fences so I had something to put in them. Made them roll up fences and just visit them off and on.

The VM does have a lag jumping into and out of the VM but Fences seem to be doing just fine in the VM.

So, The test is going well so far.

I was 7 years old, I called it the Attack of the Pancakes. I was in my late 20s before I saw it again. Now, I can watch it anything I want. Internet is so KEWL!

Anyway, The problem seems to have gone. The Clean install but odd that a Clean install of the OS did not fix it. Could have been a hardware driver issue that was removed after it updated the driver. Just needed the Clean install of fence to clean it up. The World may never know. (Tootsie Pop)

But will post if it happens again. or if days go by and nothing happens.

You should google my Handle... But do it this way. Norville Rogers

Hard to get the way I wanted it, someone else had it. Did not know so many fans of him.

Yes, I to watch Star Trek with my Dad, and then TMG and Voyager with my Kids. I was hard to believe Star Trek only ran for 3 seasons. We watched for years longer. The other show was Wild Wild West. Good times back then.
