Visual Studio 2019 (and others) still getting skinned despite exclusion

When using WindowBlinds, it still tries to skin Visual Studio 2019 despite having devenv.exe in the exclusions. This is especially noticable when going to a solution's properties page, as well as when editing winform gui's. The main interface isn't affected, I'm guessing since it's using their own theme.
I used ProcessExplorer to make sure it's devenv.exe that's loading (or whether there are child processes that need to be excluded as well), but couldn't find any.
I'm seeing the same with Task Manager (Taskmgr.exe).

Any idea how I can prevent this from happening? It's a deal breaker for using the (otherwise great) application.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Don't see any issue using Visual Studio 2019, even without excluding it from WB. Maybe your are using Dark theme which usually change Windows system colors.

If so please use light theme or theme that do not change Windows system colors. I believe, all themes that come with Windowblinds do not change system colors.

Thanks

I'm using the 'Pelorous' skin by 2of3, the normal dark variant. I really don't like using light themes, they're too bright. The impact can most easily be seen by opening Windows' Task Manager (be sure to enable 'more details').

The system wide colour scheme would apply system wide which could be your issue.

Are you able to post screenshots showing the problem please as it would help us.

Yes, that screenshots are what I mean when I said the Windows system colors was change by "Pelorous" which is system wide. Which will effect that "dark gray" background color that show up in your Visual Studios. The only way to get to back to white background is by using WB style that don't change Windows system colors. Such as "Corporate"

The problem with this is, that when I select corporate for instance, it still makes my Explorer windows white. Even though Windows is set to 'Dark' .. So that feels like it's still changing system colors, only to white instead of dark.

Well, that how Windowblinds work. You can try to find a Dark theme that use better system color settings. Or,  you could try "Curtains" https://www.stardock.com/products/curtains/
