I'm sure you all think you are real funny, but to be honest I just feel as though you are taking the piss out of the moderators on this site. I stopped moderating here a while ago because of all the bitching and whining, but have recently been putting in some hours again (using the new moderation guidelines that have been set by the people at the top), but obviously I have been wasting my (precious, free) time. Here is a snippet that I wrote in the "Bitching and Whining" thread:

Whatever happens with the wallpaper section, this site and it's moderators are in a "No-win situation". If we are tough in our moderation, people whine and bitch about their stuff getting rejected, (believe me, I have been on the receiving end of much vitriol in the past.) If we go easy on the moderation, people whine and bitch that rubbish is getting through. If we get rid of the wall section, maybe less people will come to the site, and many people would be upset. If we keep the wall section, people will whine and bitch depending on the level of moderation in force at the time..................So, what do we do?

Please be aware that bypassing moderation is a priveledge extended to those who upload "Consistent" high quality work. It can always be rescinded if that quality is no longer evident.

Yes, we're not getting at the moderators BoXXi. In fact, it's a demo of what happens without moderation. I for one would be pleased if moderation went back to where it was. The vast majority of people react well to being moderated, it's an incentive to improve their work. Only a few are going to bitch and moan if their treasured piece of art doesn't make it. But that's no reason to give in. At the moment it looks like that is what has happened.

These last few weeks have been very sad for this site. A bit of fun makes it not seem so bad.

I see no need for this satire. Walls uploaded recently (without those 'nonsense walls') speak for themselves already...
Please don't arise another drama here, we have had enough lately. I wait for some people to get this totally wrong. We already have some bad blood on the comments now.

Bryan, my intentions (and probably everyone that has joined in this) were not to anger you or any other moderator or admin. I full well realized that my priviledge might be yanked when I did what I did. HOWEVER, Gabe made it through "moderation" so which says a lot for such a priviledge.

My intentions were to do what many of us have been spending a lot of time bitching about. Make a statement that no moderation is actually worse. The garbage I see getting posted is pushing some of the real quality work many pages into the site whereas we actually have to hunt for work that shows effort and/or knowing what one is doing.

And I totally agree with what IR said, we are having a lot of fun which seems to have been lacking.
