Start10 doesn't disable Windows Start menu

Recently installed Start10 on a new system. It worked for a while, then suddenly reverted to showing Windows 10 menu with tiles - however, when I click on the Start button, Windows 7 style menu comes up and tiles disappear. In neither mode can I see files/folders on my desktop.

I tried right-clicking on taskbar to disable Windows 10 menu entirely, but I don't see a Properties option.

It sounds like your computer may be in tablet mode.

If you disable that in the OS you should be good.

Thank you. I tried that and it had no effect at first, then I realized I had to reboot. All good now.
