How to get ObjectDock Plus

I have ObjectDock V.2.20.0.862 (says it's the latest), and in the home tab of the configure screen, If I want to create a second dock, it opens a window telling me I need ObjectDock Plus; so if I click on the button "buy now", it brings me on stardock website on objectdock webpage. But nowhere is it mentioned Objectdock plus; in the description of the software though, it clearly says it can create multiple docks. If I click on get now, it brings me on a page to select the trial or buy it, but it says I already own objectdock and provides a link to download it again (in my account page). So wha'ts the deal is there a plus or not? Why can't I make more than one dock with my version, which seems to be the latest? Thank.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Not really sure why it says you need ObjectDock Plus if you already have a full version installed. I believe that message box popup only for those free/trial version. Just to be sure, you can try the purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here : https://forums.stardock.com/485816/objectdock-support-faq#reinstalling

Just make sure to re-download the latest version from your account. https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products . Reboot after the purge, reinstall using the latest version. Reboot again and retest. Report back.

Also do note that : If you on Windows 10, ObjectDock is not supported. It might work but with few bugs and irregularities.

Do you know if this (Windows 10) will be fully supported at some future date?

From what I know, currently there is no plan for it.

I have been using ObjectDock Version 2.20.0.862 on Windows 10 for years, no issues, why the heck does this question keep coming up? It works fine.

It hangs here regularly and I have to spend time getting it working again.

No, there are several known issues. It might be working fine if you only have one dock set up only with a bunch of regular shortcuts.

Ahhh, OK, thanks YrgaL, I did not know that, I only use one dock all the time. I really wish Stardock would update the Certificate for ObjectDock v1.9.  It only did single dock, worked fine on Windows 10, and never had any issues with it. It just won't install now, so I am forced to use v2.2.  (Hint, hint Stardock!) :-)

You can install Object Dock 1.9 using the administrator account (not your account with administrator rights, but the built in administrator account) With that account, virtually anything is possible and you won't get any prompts, so use with caution. There are several ways to enable it. One is using a command prompt (as admin) and enter the following:

net user administrator /active:yes

Replace “yes” with “no” to disable the admin account on the welcome screen again, if desired.

Always create a restore point before making changes to your system.

And thanks ALMonty! *_*

Thank you so much @LightStar. It's perfectly working now...

Also, if anyone’s into travel and nature, I highly recommend checking out the unforgettable safari experiences at Udawalawe National Park. A great place to discover the wild side of Sri Lanka!

Regards,

Malan
