White fence borders disappeared

from Stardock Forums

My problem is that the fences do not show the white outline around each group as they did at first. I was working in explorer and my screen refreshed but without the frences showing.  All the groups remained but the top of the fence and borders are all transparent.  The fence names are still there as well as the dropdowm menu lines.  I purchased Objectdoc and went into ALL the settings to try to fix this but nothing made a difference.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more information.

1) Windows version. Please use Winver.exe for full version numbers.

2) Fences version.

Please try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here : https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#reinstalling

Just make sure to re-download the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall using the installer you just download. Reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back.

Ouch.  I spent a lot of time reorganizing my desktop for fences.  Will all those settings be gone and force me to do it all again from scratch?
