Fresh install of windows My portal fences won't retain their View settings

from Stardock Forums

I'v had paid for versions of Fences for years and never had this problem before.

I set the views to lists and that's fine till i reboot and then they are all back to large icons again.

Am I missing a setting here or is there something weird going on with my new installation.

As far as I can see no other program I have is doing anything like losing its settings.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more information.

1) Windows version, please use Winver.exe to get full version numbers.

2) Fences version.

I can't reproduce your issue on my system. Please try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here : https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#reinstalling

Just make sure to re-download the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall using the installer you just download. Reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back.
