cut/paste from fence to desktop is impossible....

so you can drag/drop out of a fence to the desktop and files will stay put.  I figured i would cut/paste as dragging files across a fence boundary seem to have a bit of an experience ruining "hitch" to them as they cross the threshold.

unfortunately doing so results in the file zipping back off inside the fence instantaneously.   fences is apparently viewing it as a new file as opposed to a moved file like a drag n drop would be.

I imagine an easy fix for whenever updates are pushed for stardock stuff.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But why do you need to that? Just select and drag it off the fence would do it.

i explained why.   dragging and dropping "stutters" or "hitches" when it crosses the boundary of the fence.  ruins the experience.

plus, because it copy/paste works without fences.   fences intereferes and im sure its not intended behavior, just an oversight.  apps moved out of fences via whatever means shouldnt be zipped back into the fence.

Even does it with a copy/paste.  if you want to copy something to desktop and keep it in a fence for later (for example to use the desktop copy as a disposeable, it gets zipped back into your fence and you now have 2 in your fence.....

there should simply be code with a check for if something is moved from within a fence, to outside - it stays.   i cant see of a single scenario having it function in the current fashion is beneficial.
