Problems Evaluating Start10

Yesterday I downloaded and was trying out Start10. I liked all the features and would like to purchase it but I ran into a couple of deal-breakers. First I noticed that it extended my computer boot time. Probably not by much but it was noticeable. Next, and probably the biggest is it messed with my Recycle Bin. When I would try to empty the bin, it wouldn't. It just sat there with all of the stuff in it. I tried numerous times and still wouldn't empty. I uninstalled Start10 and the Recycle Bin returned to normal. I have a fairly fast, newer, Win 10 pro laptop so I know that it wasn't the computer bogging down. I am also using Fences with no problems if that has anything to do with it. Is anyone else experiencing things like this? I would be willing to try it again. Thanks in advance.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Never experience any problem with Start10 and emptying Recycle Bin. I believe there is no connection between those two function. Need more information on your system.

1) Windows version. Please use winver.exe for full version numbers.

2) Start10 version.

Thanks for your response. I also didn't think it should have anything to do with the recycle bin but it went away as soon as I uninstalled Start10. Here is the info you asked for. Not sure what version of Start10 it was but it was the newest from your website as of yesterday.

Please try :

1) The purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here : https://forums.stardock.com/486022/start10-support-faq#reinstalling

Reboot after the purge, reboot again after the installation. Test it out.

and if it still happening please try

2) Cleanboot : https://forums.stardock.com/486022/start10-support-faq#cleanboot

try it and report back.
