Task Bar Hide functionality and System Tray issues.

Hi, so I'm in kind of a dilemma. I absolutely love the aesthetic of ObjectDock, especially compared to NexusDock..(drop down menus and thumbnails fit my system font, and I prefer the icon functionality).

However, the "hide taskbar functionality" should be a bit more broad, or at least, I can't figure out how to do it, but I want to hide the taskbar, but also be able to access the start menu by pressing start (on the keyboard). On Nexus, that's what the hide taskbar functionality does. It allows you to access the start menu by pressing start but hides it and the taskbar by default.

I have to use Nexus to use that task bar functionality, which I have not seen elsewhere. It would be nice if there were "advanced" options to allow the start menu to still exist while the taskbar is permanently invisible.

Then there is also the system tray, which has support but it doesn't feel like it really works. What I mean is, I have loads of system tray icons. Like 7-10 regularly running. But to get them to show up on ObjectDock, you can't actually have them in "a tray" like Nexus with one icon opening the tray of volume, wifi, rainmeter, etc. At least, I'm not sure how to do it? If these two features are added, I will completely get off NexusDock in terms of running it in the bg. I am happy with everything else, though.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know what Windows version you on. You can use Winver.exe for full version numbers.

Thanks

My Win ver is 1903. I don't think the problem is really with the Win ver, but I can't get an icon that allows the systray to expand. For example, this is NexusDock, there is an icon that allows systray expansion:

.

And also the *hide taskbar* functionality doesn't disable the start menu from opening.

I cannot find this on ObjectDock. Hide taskbar completely disables the start menu and there is no systray icon, just an option to make all the tray icons appear on the dock.

Is there actually a systray icon? I cannot find it...

Object Dock is not supported for Win 10. Some things may work and some don’t.
