DeskScapes 10 is there, but mostly a Black Screen

In October/November, got email stating more programs are Windows 10 compatible; I always buy Object Desktop, but really only use: DeskScapes; Window Blinds; & Start10.

The programs mentioned in email have not yet been made Win10 compatible & although I have uninstalled WB 8, installed DeskScapes, uninstalled it; purged it; & reinstalled it, STILL not working right.

Computer opens with still pic of Theme; but every time I push any key, goes to Black Screen; Is there some Option/Adjustment I'm doing wrong ?

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

What version of Windows are you running ( Full Version ) info . use winver.exe

What version of DeskScapes ?

How many Monitors and at what resolution/s ?

Report back please.

Explain your info better please.

Windows Full version - use winver.exe in run

How many Monitors you using and at what resolutions and Scaling ?

Did you REBOOT after Purge and then install 10 and Reboot before testing ?

Deskscapes is not working currently under versions 195xxx.  There is a bug between the Preview editions of Windows 10 and Deskscapes.  

It has been reported to both Microsoft and to Stardock.  Stardock has yet to release a version that is compatible with these versions of Windows.  Crashes of Windows Desktop Manager (WDM) and Windows explorer keep Deskscapes from working correctly.  There is another forum entry on this related to Windows 15936 and onward.  I am hopeful that an updated Deskscapes version will be released soon.....

(Resolved !)

Yesterday, I downloaded & installed Version 19564 & I am happy/relieved to report DS 10 IS WORKING (Yea !)

Once Sound Packager is fixed, I will leave you all alone !
