BUG tab bar rendering issue

at upper left corner,tab name and original window contents are overlaping eatch over

windows version 1803

build 17134.228

 

and there are some suggestions for visual style,the "+" and ":" button on the right side of the tabs are too big or too bold,they don‘t mix well with original windows style ,you could make them thinner、smaller。and in the other mode,when tabs alwasy place above the window,the background color looks ugly on win10,it should be flat-gray color on win10 system(just like chrome tabs),or make flatten style as an option on setting pannel.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more. What version of groupy installed? And of possible please upgrade Windows 10 to V1903.

Here screenshot on my system. Groupy 1.25 with Win10 v1903. No issue.

I just renewed my subscription and downloaded and installed the new version.   I thought I had a subscription that did not expire...  Anyway, I cannot use Groupy as I get the message:  "cannot group a window that is not responding"   This just stared happening in the last few days... I thought I had a permanent subscription... but I renewd anyway .... Why do you sell me a program that does not work?  Can you help me please?

Dear AZDUDE, thank you for replying  i have window 10.... I just downloaded the new groupy softward... so I must have the latest,  don't I... I thought i had a permanent subscription but they asked me to extend  which i did... I installed it and it is still NOT WORKING!   as i said " I cannot use Groupy as I get the message:  "cannot group a window that is not responding.  Others are having the same problem..   Can you check if i have a permanent subscription or do i have to renew every year

Sorry to hear you are having issues. That error message come up on every application or just one application such as Chrome? Does it come up if you group Windows Explorer?

I used to be able to group everything.   like opera and other programs not running on chrome.  Now I can't group anything. It seems like windows explorer or  EDGE.... groups within itself ....but not with chrome or opera or any other grouping.....  Groupy USED to work fine... what happened?????  I want it to work like it used to!  I don't use MS EDGE.  I use Chrome and other programs.... and opera... and it used to group all these, until about a week ago.  I extended  my subscription.... although I thought it never expired... you didn't answer me about this?   Basj  can you get it to work like it used to?

I think the issue is not with groupy. It is something to do with recent chrome update. But a work around that issue is currently underway. You can refer to this thread for reference :

Basj....  re: my account  can you please check for me?  I thought I had unlimited use on Groupy,  object desktop and multplicity.   I recently extended my Groupy subscription.  but  i don't think I needed to?  I  thought it was not working because i needed to extend it.... can you check for me on these Stardock subscriptions and let me know please?  the would be under my email xxxxxxxxx@gmail.com (Note: Please don't post your email in public forum:I has passed along to Stardock support)

thank you Basj!  by the way  the stardock support team is not as responsive as they used to be .....  i hope that changes!
