I am trying to use Blue Plasma for my background but it says to get a video encoder from Microsoft and linked me to it, I downloaded it but it still says i need an encoder. Any ideas?

It tells me to get MPEG-2 Video extension, so not sure if its not as reliable as other software's.

K Lite Mega codec pack.

I appreciate the suggestion, and your frequent help, but DS10 should not need any other decoders other than the free one MS offers for Mpeg2:

Using any other codecs (packs) has caused issues for others and DS gets the blame.

That said, we have been working on re-encoding all the 'Stardock Design' dreams (much props to AZDude for his efforts there).  You can use this one that has been done:

If you are talking to me, just install it at defaults.  Klite Mega.

Yeah, its because the web server does not have a mime for .dream.  Zipped it and edited the link.  Should work now.

I tried DS with only the Microsoft codec.  No joy. Klite worked for me.

I shall refrain from touting it if that is your wish.     B)
