Can't register Stardock Products through Stardock Central

I had to reinstall all my Stardock products because of a hard drive crash. All my products work, but I want to use Stardock Central to update my programs when necessary. The problem is that Stardock Central will not except the registration codes/email address that I entered. The reg codes are the right ones because the programs will work. Tech support entered the same info as I did and they got it to register on their pc. I turned off my ZoneAlarm and my virus protection and still not go. I uninstall Stardock Central and all my products and reinstalled and still nothing.
Anyone else having this problem and if so how did you solve it?

S.

Steelers Rule ...hmmmmm (but that's for another thread). Exactly what did Stardock tell you to do, 'cause it sounds like a cross-reference e-mail problem.....

Tech support entered the same info as I did and they got it to register on their pc.

This is who you should really be taking this up with. If they have done this then your in contact with them and should continue the communication ot resolution I am believing.

A simple suggestion:
Make sure you copy and paste your Email and registration numbers. Do not try to enter them manually like I did once.
Other than that, I have nothing else to offer.

One thing you might try is this.

Load StardockCentral and enter your information including your email address and then Update your info.

Load SDC, click "TOOLS" click "Register Products" click "OBJECT DESKTOP" and enter you information.

If this fails and your email address is the same one you purchased the products through
you can get your serial numbers and such sent to that address in a form letter. If it is not the same you can update your email address as long as all your information jives with the customer database.

You can also check though the FAQ's at the link below on the StarDock Support page.

i think there is something wrong with the update button. it wouldn't accept my serial number either. at first i copied and pasted in the customer order number which is wrong. then i copied in the s/n and pressed update. which gave me error message. i forgot what the message was. i closed it and tried it again and this time i *didnt* press the update button. i just clicked ok. it accepted it without any messages and then i double clicked the registration info and it had a date showing when it would expire. i clicked the update button and it popped up a message that it had been accepted.
try that
