Question about background colors

I have one skin that I'm dorking with (I'll leave out the name since this same situation can affect many skins.) The skin is ideal, but the background color of the textboxes are blue. I'd prefer the standard white for working in things such as Word or Excel.

Is there any way to change a single color in the skin? The Windows "Appearance" tab doesn't seem to be of much help here.

I'm not a skin author (although the prospect sounds interesting, with 2 jobs and a business I'd need to free up some time first.)

Can this be done? Am I overlooking something obvious?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks ... I have to find the Midi-Window dialog. I also have to find where Skin Studio is installed. Each time I try to use it it pulls up my web-browser. DOH!

SkinStudio is located in the Stardock directory on my machine, but it may be in the Object Desktop directory on yours.
