Keyboard shortcut for opening a new tab?

Hi,

Is there a shortcut for opening a new tab while in the explorer on my PC? If so, is there a way to change that shortcut? On my mac I used cmd+t to open a new tab - would love to have the same in Groupy.

Thanks

Hello,
There is Ctrl+N in explorer to open new explorer tab.

Thanks Basj,

With ctrl+n it opens the new tab in a new window. Is there a setting I could change so the new tab opens next to the already opened tab - so both are in the same window? Sorry for not giving this info beforehand.

Try turn on "Automactically group identical windows together"

It doesn't work for me.

I have the same setting enabled but when hitting shift + n it opens explorer in a new window still.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Not shift + n but Ctrl + n. And make sure you did not exclude explorer.exe from grouping automatically.

Is there a way to change the shortcut "Ctrl+N" to "Ctrl+T" instead?

All the best

Ctrl+N is default Open new documents set in Windows. And unless I am mistaken, it can't be change to something else.
