ShadowFX and 4k display

Hi all. Bought ShadowFX last month in the hope of bringing some much needed depth to an otherwise flat Windows 10 desktop. Which it does quite well. Well, except on a scaled 4k display. When running my Dell XPS 15 9575 in 4k the shadows are not pronounced enough at 200% or 250% scaling. If I switch to 1080p mode, the shadows are scaled properly and look great (trying to emulate MacOS).

My question is, I guess, can ShadowFX be updated to include better 4k display scaling support?
