All of a sudden, i cannot get the start 10 menu to replace the W10 start button.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to see what setting was on your Start10 config. Post a screen shot on it. Refer to s/shot below.

thank you for the quick response. I have tried all settings and still failed. here is my current settings:

WindowBlinds - Free yourself of the default settings, customize your desktop.

thank you very much, but I am afraid to play in the registry. I may not have been clear I don't have a blank icon in taskbar. I have the w10 logo and when I press the icon I get the w10 start page. I just want to be able to have start10 override that and get me back to the w7 screen. It worked on this pc then all of a sudden it stopped.

Just make sure to re-download the latest version from your account. Reinstall that version, reboot and retest. Report back here.

it works. it works. thank you so very very much. I felt lost without the use of the program.
