[Solved] "DeskScapes10": 1- "Snow" effect | 2- Desktop image problem

Hello.

I have two problems on my Notebook and on my desktop computer (Windows 7 Home Premium Edition SP1 x64 on both devices):

1- The "Snow" effect is very ugly (the one in "DeskScapes8.51" was very nice; why have you changed it!?).

What can I do to have a very nice "Snow" effect, please?

2- I set a video as desktop = Ok.

I set a Windows theme (the video should disappear and a slideshow of 2 images should appear) = White desktop...

What can I do to get rid of this white desktop and to set the slideshow of 2 images as desktop, using the Windows theme, please?

Thank you but I build my own ".dreams", I only want to add the "Snow" effect over them, as screensaver.

- I uninstalled DeskScapes10 using the Configuration Panel, reboot, used the DeskScapes PURGE, reboot.

- I also uninstalled ObjectDock2.20.0.862, SkinStudio10.1, WindowBlinds10.80 and DeskScapes10 using the Configuration Panel, reboot, used the WindowBlinds PURGE and the DeskScapes PURGE, reboot, delete all the remaining Stardock's folders/files, used cleanmgr.exe, powered off and on the computer.

Is DeskScapes10 a full version or is it in alpha/beta test? :|

What I paid for is a full version ; if it's in alpha/beta test, I want my money back.

If it's a full version this version don't work, then I want my money back.

I let until monday 10th morning (my timezone) for Stardock to find a fix ; if no fix, my money back.

For the "Snow" effect, if I copy the "Snow" files from DeskScapes 8.51 and paste/replace them in DeskScapes10, will it work?

Just so I am clear, you still get the white desktop when you apply a Windows theme:

With neither of those products of ours installed?  If that is the case, that you cannot successfully apply a Windows theme without our products installed, then its not anything we could help with.

What I can say is that Windows Theme does work with those products our ours installed:

Are you serious?

Of course yes, the Desktop image works using a Windows theme, when DeskScapes10 is not installed.

It also works when DeskScapes8.51 is installed.

Yes, as you never said you reinstalled them, sir.

My initial test / video was with Win10, this is my test of the same (Windows Theme + DS10) on Win7:

If I am missing something you are doing, can you send a video of what is happening?  You can upload it to a cloud service (Google Drive, OneDrive, DropBox) and post a shared link here.

Also, are you using any 3rd party multi-monitor software like DisplayFusion or UltraMon?

It works.

For the desktop, as I use a batch.bat file to change my theme, I managed to do a workaround.

It's not a fix but it's ok for me...

I can now "close" this topic.

Thanks anyway to both of you, guys.

I took a look at your video...

You have a problem when you set a Windows theme ; the desktop background picture don't have the real colors.

So, saying that "Windows Theme does work with those products our ours installed" is... How to say that in English? ... Let's say that it's boring.
