Start10 freezes when right-clicking orphaned pinned item

Whenever I right-click the highlighted pinned item in the screenshot below in order to remove it, Start10 stops responding and I have to reboot my PC.  Is there another way to remove that orphaned pinned item?

I followed those directions and the orphaned item is still there with no way to remove it.  In my opinion, the fact that it doesn't check for the existence of the item the shortcut points to when right-clicking is a bug.

EDIT: I tried just clicking on the orphaned item and Start10 popped up a dialog asking me if I wanted to remove the non-existent item.

Your pinned shortcuts are stored here : C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\StartMenu

As long as a link exists you would expect it to still show even if the target of the shortcut has been deleted.  This is normal Windows behaviour for the taskbar links and start menu links.

I would be curious to know if right clicking on the shortcut in that folder also causes issues.
