Groupy and DisplayFusion Vertical Splits

I have a multi monitor setup and use DisplayFusion to create splits on my larger monitors. Splits treat each segment like its own monitor, so when you click on the maximize button on any window, that window fills up that split segment.

Groupy works great in most situations except when I have vertical splits on my monitor (this happens whether or not have multi-monitor taskbars enabled in DisplayFusion).

The Groupy bar appears fine on the top split segments, but on any lower split segments, the Groupy bar appears above the split line when maximizing in a segment, as shown in the attached image.

I don't know if there's an easy fix for this, but it would definitely be nice to have one, as the combination of DisplayFusion with Groupy is great for productivity.
