Start 10 v1.7: Shortcuts disappear (Modern Style)

Problem was already under v1.6

Hello,

 

for some time I have the problem that my Icons / Shortcuts disappear if I click on the start button. It then takes some time until the shortcuts Show up again. I already had this problem under v1.6, where I already deinstalled and reinstalled Start 10, which didn't help. Unfortonately the upgrade to v1.7 also didn't solve the problem.

Maybe that's a bug that could be solved in the future.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try the purge and reinstall steps : https://forums.stardock.com/486022/start10-support-faq#reinstalling

Re-download the Start10 V1.7 from your account. Install it. Reboot and test it. Report back.

Thank you, but it didn't solve the problem. I uninstalled the programm by using the bat-file, restarted (after the bat-file was completely finished), downloaded v1.7 and reinstalled it.

The problem is still there: Sometimes the Icons in the start menu appear immediately, sometimes there are no icons and i have to wait some time until the Icons appear.

I'm having the same issue using Win7 Style.

Shortcuts disappear every so often.

Seems like it happens more when windows are open, but also happens
with only desktop showing.
