Deleting skins

In WB4 skin viewer, I scrolled through the various skins, and deleted some of them. However, when I go to my WB folder (in WinExp) their folders and wba files are still on my hard drive. Do I need to go to WinExp and manually delete those same skins (folder and wba files)?? Or did I not use the skin viewer to delet them in the first place?

I tested this and WB4 skin viewer did delete the directory for me. I don't know why it didn't work for you.
But if all else fails, deleting the directory in WinExplorer will certainly get rid of it.
(Be sure you don't try to delete the skin that is loaded!)

You may have two WB folders and it's possible you are checking in an older WB folder. Before I installed WB4 the path was C:\Program Files\Object Desktop\.... after installing WB4 its now C:\Program Files\Stardock .... check and see if you have more than one WB folder.

If you copied any skins from a CD or backed up and restored the directories you could have some that are read-only. Check the properties on one of the directories that wouldn't delete.

I've noticed this too... i just delete them at the folder level.

Thanks for your help everybody! I'm pretty sure I have only the one directory of skins...but will double check to make sure. I just needed to trim it all down, it was taking a long time to open the skin browser due to all the skins!

Thanks again!
