How to close a Fence?

Hello,

I've seen that you only have to click on the X appearing,
while the mouse is hovering a fence to close it.
But...

I use Win 7 on a multimonitor system and there is no such X appearing on my desktop.
(I wish I could post a screen capture..)
Is there another mean to delete this fence, or at least to move it from where it was created?

You can use this link to post an image here in the forum it's a FREE site https://imgur.com/?

You can double click on your desktop to close your fences clicking on the " X " deletes that fence.

as far as a Multi Monitor issue

Right click on your desktop and choose View and see if your Fences are locked. If they are, unlock them and see if the X is there.

Hello,

Thanks for your quick replies.
I've solved the problem by using a Windows theme from the "Basic themes with high contrast" category.
By doing so, all my fences now get the normal attributes:  the three Hz stripes menu on the left and the X on the right.
