Icons redraw/refresh a lot

Hi,

  Lately my desktop icons appear to be refreshing more than normal. It just started in the last month it seems. I do have a lot of fences and a lot of icons on my desktop. It reminded me of the old days when we had to increase the icon cache in the registry. But before I try that I want to make sure it won't interfere with Fences in a bad way. When I first noticed the issue I paid attention. Then there was a Windows update and things appeared back to normal. Now they are some days better than others. I have a GTX1060 so plenty of GPU and 16GB RAM. I did look in the registry to see what the icon cache was set at but there was not even a property in there. I was looking for the property "Max Cached Icons". Anyhow, any advice  on the issue?

Hello,

Not sure about this problem since I don't see most of my icons on my desktop. Except Recycle Bin. All my other icons are in Fences and all my Fences are in rolled up state. So I have a very clean Desktop. So my Advice to you is to do the same. As long as you PC work as normal and all your icons working as it should. Should be no problem.
