Fences Animation Slow
I've noticed that when I hover my mouse around a fence, the fence's opening animation is very slow and I don't know how to fix this. Is there anyway to make the animation smoother?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more information.
1) Windows version. Use Winver.exe for full version numbers.
2) Fences version.
Thank you.

I'm currently using Windows 10 Version 1809 (Build 17763.348) and am using the "latest" version of Fences 3 (3.0.9.11).
Thank you. Please try the purge and reinstall steps mentioned here : https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#reinstalling
Make sure to re-download the latest version again, and reinstall that version. Reboot and retest. Report back here.

I just ran through the purge, but I still found the fences still very jittery and laggy most of the time. Dragging, opening rolled-up fences, resizing, and moving fences were some of the things that lagged.
Would like to know more on your display setup.
1) Single, dual or more monitors?
2) Resolution on each monitors and scaling applied.
3) Fence that laggy and jittery, all fences or certain fences. i.e portal fence etc etc.
Thank you,

I'm only running this on a Surface Book 2 on one display (laptop screen) and has a 3:2 screen ratio with 225% (arbitrary Windows 10 scale value) and a resolution of 3240 x 2160. All the fences are jittery and laggy together.
Hello,
Just for testing purpose. Can you turn down the 225% to 100%, reboot and see if the jittery and laggy goes away.
Thank you,

I have an issue with scaling the display to 100% in that if I do, everything becomes ridiculously small. Even worse, the lagginess is still there most of the time. I'm also noticing that when I run something that requires my dGPU, the fences lag even more.
What I was suggesting, just as a quick test, set it to 100% and observe if the problem gone. You can set it back 225% right after that. I can than pass the information to Stardock Support so they can suggest next step for a solutions.

So sorry for the late response! My computer was replaced a bit earlier, so sorry about the late response. I did try to set the scaling before it was replaced, but it was still laggy.
Even so, I'll look out for this issue on my replacement laptop regardless.
