Black Background and high CPU usage

Hi There, When I load Windows 10 v1809 (up to date) I too have a black background. I have 2 monitors - one is 1680 x 1050 and the other is 1920 x 1080 If I alter the higher resolution down to the lower value DeskScapes works fine and I can then take the higher resolution back again. It's a bit of a nuisance, but I have put up with it hoping it will be sorted in the near future. Did I hear that a DeskScapes 10 is coming?

I am also finding that my if I have the motion running on DeskScapes my CPU usage shoots up to between 90 and 100%. This slows down my I7 computer. Is this another bug? When DeskScapes is paused the usage goes down to a more reasonable 10-15%. I am running DeskScapes v8.51.

Are there any suggestions or answers to these 2 problems?
