WB Causes Windows to Stall

I bought Windowblinds last week and I'm having a make or break problem. When WB is running, closing any window from any software causes my entire computer to stop responding for about a three or four seconds. It doesn't matter if the software is being skinned by WB or not.

Example 1: I close a Windows Explorer window then zip down to Object Dock, there's an hour glass just sitting there for a several seconds, then Object Doc responds.

Example 2: I close Chrome and immediately hit the Windows key, my computer is frozen for a second or two, then the start menu pops up.

I'll unload WB and run the same tests and everything open and closes perfectly. Reload WB and it happens again.

 

Notes:

The problem is happening when closing a window, not just a piece of software. If I have three Windows Explorer windows open and close one, the other two explorer windows (along with my entire computer) are unusable for five to six seconds.

This is happening with every theme I try, including themes shipped with WB

I'm seeing nothing in the windows event viewer that corresponds to these issues.

The computer is an Asus Zenbook Pro UX501VW.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

a little more information is needed.

1- Windows version - type in .. winver.exe .. in run 

2 - WB version from your account.

Please note that ObjectDock is not supported on Windows 10.

As for Windowblinds issue please try this steps:

-For Win8/10 Users: Open the Start Screen, and type 'cmd'. Right-click on the search result and select 'Run as administrator' from below.

-Type: sfc /scannow

-Wait for the scan to complete (this can take several minutes)

If the SFC finds errors, but cannot fix them, please also run the following command in the same command prompt window:

dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

The above command should assist with replacing any damaged or problematic system files. Please note, however, since it may require restoring certain files, this process can take some time and you will need to be patient until it has completed.
