Cursor FX and Steam Overlay

Hello.

 

I have Cursor FX Plus 2.16 and everything works good but when I open the Steam Overlay in a Game I canĀ“t see any cursor, 

 

I tried temoving and reinstalling but nothing.

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

 Would you Please try this PURGE different than a regular uninstall https://forums.stardock.com/485856/cursorfx-support-faq#reinstalling

Reboot and ReInstall the latest version from your account https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products/

Reboot and report back here , please.

Hi.

 

I've purged cursor fx, reboot, then reinstall, then reboot.

 

Keep doing the same.

Hello!

 

I did "Crtl+Shift+C" to temporary disable CFX and Mouse is back again.

But i need to disable and enable each time .

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

Any overlay (other apps have them) can have unpredictable effects on some software.  If you just want to disable the Steam overlay, you can:

I have the same issue with games the cursor dissapears ! They didn't fix yet and still selling a outdate software what a shame.

Would like to know what games that you having missing cursor. I have yet to find a game that have problem with CursorFX. Maybe it just me. But don't see many complain from others with regards of games. maybe you can help to narrow down the issues.

Just figured out that games running OpenGL API would make cursor to dissapear, but those running D3D have cursor visible.
