I have the activation key and correct email but I get this message: (it's been active since 2015)

I tried the steps and Modern Mix is still not working. When I do the mmconfig it still shows not activated. This is my key I received in email when I purchased.
This key was sent to my email which is my paypal id: firstname.lastname@example.org
When I try to use my email, I'm notified I have no account, do I need to create an account using the dxxxxxxx@gmail account and somehow associate it to the modern mix purchase? Why would my activation just stop?
fyi, I used the command line options to deactivate and activate. I received no feedback after executing the commands.

I merged the accounts and received this error. I entered my purchase order below.
