Tywom Fanfic references original Mary Sue?

I just noticed that the Tywom Star Trek fanfic is very similar to the original Mary Sue fanfic "A Trekkie's Tale" starring Mary Sue. Just read the first paragraphs of both.

Wow... I had never bothered to look at the original "Mary Sue" story... that is exceptionally bad. That might actually be the worst "story" I've ever read. That makes Rey look like Luke Skywalker, Flash Gordon, and Buck Rogers all rolled into one, haha!!!!
