When my group becomes too big, whenever I add another window, the new tab disconnects several tabs from the group and create another group. When I try to reorganize the group the way I want, it disconnects again without opening anything new, only moving between them.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. How many tabs you experience the problem and if you could please post a video of the issue.
Please also list down your os(Win7, 8.1 or 10), its version (V1809) and Groupy version (1.18)

Win 10 (V1803) - Groupy V1.17
The problem seems to be not related the number of tabs. It happens when I open a saved group and activate automatically group "Explorer.exe" windows.

Does it happen with beta 1.18 (on your account page)?
