Microsoft Edge Right hand Controls

Not closing, minimising or maximising

Hi There,

I seem to have a problem whereby Microsoft Title Bar right side controls (minimise, maximise, X) do not work when I have installed Window Blinds 10.

I am using the latest Windows 10 Insider release - but I also had this problem with the latest normal release.

Hi AzDude - Windows Version - 1809 - 17763.1 and WindowBlinds 10.65

Hi AzDude - The problem concerns the Min, Max and X at the top right hand edge of the Microsoft Edge title bar. When WBlind is installed they do not work when clicked on, but with no Wblind the Max, Min and X work correctly - the X even turns red when the mouse is hovered over it.

Sometimes the controls work when Wblind is installed, but they stop working when a Skin is selected and installed.

Hello,

You are running the Insider Preview version of Windows V1809, which official release is set on 10 Oct. I believe Stardock Dev Team is working on its WB latest version now, and hopefully some of the new problems in Windows 10 V1809 will be address in that new WB.

You feedback and patience are appreciated.

Thank you,

Since I do not have V1809 on my system, can you test if Edge Max/Min/Restore/Close buttons work if you exclude it from WB?

Thank you,

Hi Basj - I have tried excluding Microsoft Edge.exe from WBlinds but it makes no difference.

Same issue here on multiple machines. Both Surface Pro 3's if that helps. Looking forward to the update.

I have the same issue- not only with Edge, but with Microsoft Store, Calculator, and other native Windows Apps. I wish the exclude function would at least work.

Hello,

As mentioned in another thread, the Dev team is working to finalize version for WB update that should solve all the Win10 V1809 issues. And I have tested not finalize version if it and can say most of the issues was solved. I guess either Dev Team is waiting for Windows 10 re-release officially or they still working on some small bugs before releasing the Final WB update for everybody.

Thank you,
