Blank control panel item

I noticed when I install Iobit uninstaller, it adds the icon to the control panel just fine while using "display as menu"... but it always appends a blank item in the list.

I posted a link to an imgur album showing how there actually is no blank items in the control panel. I'm assuming this is a start10 issue.

Exact same issue.  Version 1.71 currently installed.  Ran the Purge_StartALL.bat file referenced by AzDude to no avail.  Issue remains with all the default settings, prior to re-configuring Start10 with my preferences.

My experience is slightly worse, in that the blank seems to mess with the items in the list not all appearing in alphabetical order.  After the blank, I have several items that are out of order, before order is restored after them.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try this 

To get rid of it that blank icon you have to edit the registry, take ownership of the item, and then delete it.

The item is HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ControlPanel\NameSpace\{98F2AB62-0E29-4E4C-8EE7-B542E66740B1}

Reboot if needed and recheck. Report back here. Thanks

Yes, that worked! Thank you, basj!  Fixed both the blank and the failure to alphabetize all items correctly.
