Unable to Uninstall Product

A little while back, I downloaded and installed the trial of Groupy. I decided it wasn't for me and went to uninstall it, but discovered it wasn't listed in Add/Remove Programs. A couple forum posts suggested I reinstall and reboot, after which is would appear in the list. I did reinstall, but to no effect. I tried the installation program, but it does not include a repair or remove option.  The Stardock program group does not include an uninstall option.

I am now two days from the end of the trial period, have no apparent way to remove the program, and am frustrated with this software. I've been a Stardock game player for well over a decade, but this apparent strong arm tactic to purchase software that I cannot remove has soured my opinion of the Stardock as a whole.

How am I to remove this software?

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. You can try the purge part of this step to remove it. I think it should also work on trial version of Groupy. : https://forums.stardock.com/488142/groupy-support-faq#reinstalling

Completed. I don't see any of the processed running, and the application group have been removed, so that's good. 

Can steps be taken to prevent this frustration from afflicting others?

We do not see report of others with the problem of uninstalling like yours often.
