Desktop non-fenced icons move unexpectedly after wake from sleep

Running the latest version (3.0.9.11) of Fences on a windows 10 (1803) desktop. After being away from the computer for several hours, it has gone into sleep mode. When I wake the computer from sleep, Icons that are on the non-fenced portion of my desktop, in the lower half(?) of the screen, left and right side, are moved to random positions in the upper left side of the desktop where I only have 1 rolled up fence (not into the fence area but still on the normal desktop).

I have tried all suggestions that I have found using Google for windows icons moving randomly and none solve the problem.

I do not know that this is a Fences problem even though there is a short message about "Stardock fences keeps activating auto-arrange" That does not seem to be my problem.

Any help or suggestions (other than uninstall and reinstall) would be appreciated.

Did you do the Purge ?

I have now done the purge. WHY DON'T THE INSTRUCTIONS WARN THAT DOING THIS WILL TOTALLY DESTROY YOUR DESKTOP LAYOUT? I am very disappointed in what this has done and the amount of effort I am having to put in to try and restore my layout. SHAME.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. But I did the purge and reinstalled and all my old setting still there. You just need to restore it through the Layout & Snapping Sections.

Just choose the correct snapshot and restore it.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

Thank you.
