How do I get the update to recognize my license key

I just updated Fences 2 to Fences 3. It won't accept my license key after doing the install reboot. How do I get the program to recognize the key?

A Fences 2 key will not work with version 3. You would need to upgrade.

Hello,

Yes you will have to buy the upgrade follow the link above for the

stand alone version or as part of the Object Desktop pkg.

Thanks. It's a shame that they can't make an update/upgrade that doesn't require purchasing a whole new product every single time. A lot of my favorite security software is a  once and done type of deal with the updates included.

Updates generally are included. Fences 3 was a major version change and that is typically where an upgrade is required.
